Junior Architects:

Interior Designer

        We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will play a key role in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces for our clients. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and other professionals to design and execute interior projects that meet the client's needs and expectations.

Experience:

  • Freshers / 1 year of experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.

  • Proficiency in design software such as ArchiCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools, and other  related softwares.

  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Consultation:

    • Meet with clients to understand their preferences, requirements, and budget for the project.

    • Conduct site visits and assess the existing space to gather essential information.

  2. Conceptual Design:

    • Develop design concepts and proposals based on client input and project objectives.

    • Create mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to present design ideas effectively.

  3. Space Planning:

    • Plan and optimize interior layouts for functionality and flow.

    • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

  4. Material Selection:

    • Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings to enhance the design concept.

    • Research and source products from suppliers and vendors.

  5. Budget Management:

    • Create and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and tracking expenses.

    • Recommend cost-effective design solutions.

  6. Project Management:

    • Oversee the implementation of the design plan, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors.

    • Monitor project progress, timelines, and quality of work.

  7. Presentation and Communication:

    • Communicate design ideas and updates effectively to clients and project stakeholders.

    • Prepare and deliver presentations, including visual aids and samples.

  8. Sustainability:

    • Promote sustainable design practices and environmentally friendly materials when possible.

  9. Stay Updated:

    • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and design innovations.

    • Attend workshops and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.

Architecture Internship

        As an Architecture Intern at Avant Garde Designs, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of architecture. This internship offers valuable insights into the architectural design process and the chance to work on real projects alongside our talented team of architects and designers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Design Development: Collaborate with architects and designers on various design phases, including conceptual design, schematic design, and design development.

  2. CAD and 3D Modeling: Utilize architectural software tools such as ArchiCAD, and other related software to create detailed drawings, 3D models, and presentations.

  3. Research and Documentation: Conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations. Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations.

  4. Site Visits: Participate in site visits to observe construction progress and gain practical knowledge of project implementation.

  5. Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, attending meetings and contributing to design discussions.

  6. Presentation: Prepare visual materials and presentations to communicate design concepts and ideas effectively.

  7. Learning and Development: Take advantage of learning opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an accredited architecture program or related field.

  • Completed at least one or two years of undergraduate coursework.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Portfolio showcasing relevant design work and projects.

  • Familiarity with architectural concepts, terminology, and principles.
